Kata Sea Breeze Resort recognizes and firmly believes that respecting human rights is a fundamental foundation for responsible and sustainable business operations. The resort is committed to operating under the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) as its core framework. This commitment covers the three main pillars of responsibility: Protect, Respect, and Remedy. The key highlights of our policy are as follows:

1. Core Human Rights Commitments

• Child Protection and Anti-Human Trafficking: The resort maintains a strict Zero Tolerance policy against all forms of exploitation, abuse, and human trafficking regarding both children and adults. We conduct due diligence on our partners and supply chain to ensure they do not support child labor, provide staff training to identify and report signs of exploitation, and fully cooperate with government agencies.

• Non-Discrimination and Equal Service: We uphold the principles of equality and human dignity. The resort will not discriminate against any employee, guest, partner, or stakeholder based on race, skin color, gender, age, religion, disability, social status, sexual orientation, gender identity, nationality, or any other factor. We are dedicated to creating an open, safe, and accessible environment for everyone, including vulnerable groups and people with disabilities.

• Environmental Sustainability: Recognizing the connection between human rights and the right to a healthy environment, the resort continuously conserves its surrounding green spaces and ecosystems. We promote sustainability practices such as waste reduction, energy and water conservation, and resource efficiency. We also actively support local communities in preserving natural resources.

2. Scope and Stakeholders

• This policy applies to all operational areas of Kata Sea Breeze Resort and its directly managed business units.

• It covers all stakeholder groups, including full-time and temporary employees, guests (especially children and families), partners and suppliers across the value chain, local communities, investors, and regulatory bodies.

• The policy also extends to business relationships, encouraging contractors and agents to comply with these principles.

3. Due Diligence and Remediation Processes

• The resort will regularly conduct Human Rights Due Diligence risk assessments.

• We provide accessible grievance and complaint channels for all stakeholder groups.

• Appropriate remediation processes will be provided if it is found that the operations of the resort or its partners have caused adverse human rights impacts.

4. Responsibilities and Policy Review

• Clear roles and responsibilities have been established across all levels of the organization—from the Board of Directors, Top Management, Human Resources, and Purchasing Departments, down to every individual employee—to ensure strict compliance.

• This policy will be reviewed at least once a year, or whenever there are significant changes in laws, international standards, business nature, or significant human rights events.
